Thanks. I looked under the rear edge of my saw and the only two bolt holes
(on the right as you face the rear of the saw) are for the side support. Is that what you are referring to? "mare" lid.com wrote in message news:1gount7.1tfk3ll1mm4y9vN%mare*Remove*All*0f*Th ... Dick Snyder wrote: I want to build an outfeed table for my Bosch 4000. Many outfeed tables that I have seen are attached in some way to the rear of the saw. There is no clean way to do that on the Bosch 4000. If you have one of these saws and have built an outfeed table for it, can you let me know what you did? I can always coble up something but I prefer whenever possible to learn from the wisdom of others. Bosch sells outfeed tables but they don't even have a picture of it on their website. I attachend mine with two bolts to two holes on the underside of the table, on the fixed part of the table. I used a piece of metal that sticks out so the outfeed table goes around the fence rail. On the right side it was a bit harder, because the hole (on the edge of the fixed part of the table where the sliding part meets it) is further away from the back edge. My outfeed table has two fold up legs (with leveller feet) that go all the way to the ground, and two shorter ones that go to the corners of the Bosch's base. I don't have pictures, and it's currently not attached to it because my saw is in my current client's house for the next two weeks. But I think you can figure something out, it's not that hard. If I recall correctly the thread used by Bosch is metric, be careful not to use the wrong bolts. HTH -- mare |
