Here are a couple pics of the crown molding job I mentioned in a
previous post. There was low light and it was my phone, so the pics aren't great. But you can at least see what I was talking about and that I matched it up pretty well. Thanks for all the input on that previous thread! http://goo.gl/Gds2St -- -MIKE- "Playing is not something I do at night, it's my function in life" --Elvin Jones (1927-2004) -- http://mikedrums.com ---remove "DOT" ^^^^ to reply |

That way there are no pencil marks on the wall. In this case they are painting the walls, but I'm in the habit of doing it that way. -- -MIKE- "Playing is not something I do at night, it's my function in life" --Elvin Jones (1927-2004) -- http://mikedrums.com ---remove "DOT" ^^^^ to reply |

That's an intuitive guess given the appearance of filler in those locations in the second picture. :-) However, as I replied to Mike, I use masking tape to mark studs/joists for nailing instead of using pencil marks. -- -MIKE- "Playing is not something I do at night, it's my function in life" --Elvin Jones (1927-2004) -- http://mikedrums.com ---remove "DOT" ^^^^ to reply |

Nice looking work, Mike. I would have to think your client would be pretty dang pleased with that. I'll bet that when painted, you won't be able to tell who did what, or when, which to me is the goal of a project like that.
Good job! Robert |
