Default Speaking of Bandsaws...

The last topic about bandsaw prompt me to ask about the brand "Lincoln"?
There's a listing on Craigslist for a brand new 14" with a 3/4hp motor and
14 x 14 platform @ $200.

Any inputs?

Thanks

If I recall properly, I saw a Lincoln on a PA craigslist ad a few
years ago and it looks like many of the Asian copies of the Delta 14
(Like Conestoga and other "American" name brands). I would not pay
anything for that and instead look for a Delta or Rockwell or even a
later model Jet. You may even be better off with some of the older
USA brands if they are functional.
I know areas are different but I've seen several Rockwell 14s in the
last year and bought one this summer for $100. Save your money for a
better machine, it will come along soon.

Just remember that there's some new junk out there using the Rockwell
name.
