China knows that. The Australians are too stupid to know that.

But they have huge mineral and
fossil fuel reserves.

The hugely amusing thing about mostly Americans, and to a lesser extent
Australians, is that the more foolish of them attribute their material
wealth to moral worth, god's race, political systems, or just a superior
culture.

Few of them admit even to themselves that its harts to be poor sitting
on a goldmine.

Well, I do not know about the prison counting system
But, obviously you do

===================

Your stated numeric number would be correctly stated as:

in the long scale system "two thousand, five hundred thousand million"

in the short scale system "two quadrillion, five hundred trillion"

not the "2 1/2 TRILLION" your stated in text.

I feel you have made a simple typo in your zeros but since counting system
"trillions" and "billions" are not longer defined, thanks to the USA making
a mess of all measurement systems, I wanted clarification to your posting.
The correct text would be defined differently in each continent of the
world.

Don't feed the troll. He was your "aussie" friend here under another

So, by your reckoning, it has to be 100% "made in " to qualify

What about the almighty American Motorcycle the Harley Davidson ?

Do a check and you will find that half of it is made overseas.
The wheels, made in OZ for years
the electrics, made in Taiwan
The front forks were made in Japan, probably still are
Motor technology comes from Germany.

That is why the HD factory went broke in the 1970's, they thought they could
make the best motorcycle, but couldn't,
AMI took over and they went broke, then they discovered overseas talent for
making motorcycles and implemented that process and are still afloat
for now.

Today is Boomtime, the 46th day of Confusion in the YOLD 3177
Sing, for song drives away the wolves.

Lived in Australia once. It's a ******** full of ******s who import
everything.
China will soon walk all over them, the world will let it happen as
nobody gives a **** about Australia.

Excuse me, but, how much does the Almighty United States of America,
owe the Chinese ?
Last figure I got was in the vicinity of 2 1/2 TRILLION dollars
that's $2,500,000,000,000,000.oo
OZ owe the entire Asian countries, Japan, China, Hong Kong, Singapore,
India etc. $400 million
A very significantly lower figure
We have to import almost everything because the goddam yankees butted
into our economy and "advised " us to go their way.

Look mate, you stupid lot of ****s fought in Viet Nam for a lost cause.
America told you to jump and you jumped and your young men died for
nothing.
You went to the $ because you thought it was big and clever. You gained
nothing.
You invited America into your economic and social world. America
eventually saw you lot as ******s and pulled out.
I got some of my "education" in your ******** of a country. This from
"teachers" who spoke in broken English.
Google Seaton Park Technical High School for Boys. I lived at 6 Ladd
Street, Seaton Park, Adelaide.

I am glad you didn't stay here, we can do without the fools.

The best moment of my life was in that 707 northbound and looking down
on your ******** of a country.

Glad to get rid of the whingers and whiners like you

I am not whinging or whining. I am commenting. There is a difference yer
stupid ****.
Do you know where the steel came from to build Sydney Harbour Bridge?

Yes I do but, I can't see the significance of where the steel came from in
relation to your harping, whinging and whining about OZ and how you don't
like it

For your unenlightened little mind:

the Steel came from:
79% imported from England, 21% from Australian sources, as the Australian
steel industry had not been fully set up in 1920 as it is now

Funny counting system used in Australia. Was that a long scale or short
scale trillion or is that a prison education standard counting system?

--

Eric

Well, I do not know about the prison counting system
But, obviously you do

===================

"trillions" and "billions" are not longer defined, thanks to the USA
making a mess of all measurement systems, I wanted clarification to your
posting. The correct text would be defined differently in each continent
of the world.

Don't feed the troll. He was your "aussie" friend here under another
nickname. He loves to fill the group with turmoil.

All the best

--

Eric

Thanks for your input Eric, but I was only quoting from sauces on the USA
debt, which was stated as being 2 1/2 trillion dollars
Maybe I did miss out on a few zeros
and it is a pity that one of those zeros didn't get Mr Pounder when he was
here
but then, that's another country and it's airplane
he is only knowledgeable on the 707
from the 1960's, Big Old Jet Airliner
too much wacky baccy for his brain has completely fried it.

Best be WAY under 40K for that piece of ****.
Face it. There's only one car company worth talking about (for us mid
income folk) and that is Subaru.
Say it after me: S•U•B•A•R•U. Fuji Industries know how to build a car.
Is it classy? Nope. Does it work? Always.
Safe? Yup. Fast? If you want one that is, no problem.

But does it last an average of eleven years in Sweden?

Can you drive one for 10 years without ever changing the oil or replacing an
exhaust component?

I can drive an Australian built car for more than 10 years without changing
the oil, or even topping up the radiator

But that don't mean I have to be proud of it.
