Default EMCO rex b20

Hi Have an EMCO thicknesser/planer that seems to be very similar to
the Rex B20 (it may be an older model) There is no tool to set the
height of the planer knives. What is the best way to do this?

I am not so much concerned about the jointer part as that is easy to
reference to the outfeed table, but the thicknesser part surely needs
a relatively close tolerance on the height of the knives from the
cutter head?

hope that is clear?

any advise?

Brent
