Default Gloat or bad deal? Delta 37-280 Jointer

I just purchased a used Delta 37-280 jointer for $75. Is this a good
deal or bad news. Reading past history, I see mixed results...

Does it need a tuning? Knives are a given, but table coplanarity (izzat
a word?) and fences are important. Sounds reasonable if... Tom
