FS - Vacuum pump
Hi,
I posted this amongst some other stuff on another newsgroup, someone there mentioned that some folks here might be interested: *Medical rotary vane vacuum pump: This is old and very heavy, I'd guess 65+ Lbs. It is all explosion proof, 1/6HP 115Vac motor. It seems to run fine. It has inlet and outlet filters and needle bleed valves on the inlet and outlet to adjust the flow. If you close the valve and put your thumb on the inlet, the vacuum gauge goes up to about 20", and if you leave the inlet open and plug the outlet, the pressure gauge goes up to about 35 psi, then a bypass valve pops open. The two holes in the base and the chrome "T" post at the front hold 2 glass bottles, one labeled "Suction" and one labeled "ETHER". I have the bottles here someplace, will dig them out if you want them. Overall this is sort of dirty and has a fair amount of peeling paint, but seems fully functional. Great item if you are decorating with an olde tyme operating room theme. Available for pickup or will ship for cost of shipping. Thanks for looking. -Al |
