these wooden vases
hi all,
total newbie to wood turning i'f afraid, so i am wondering how these vases were made :- http://www.artscouncil.org.uk/downlo...eaflet0305.pdf #search='barry%20jackson%20wooden%20vessels' i think they're fantastic. they've clearly been done on a lathe and made with two types of wood, but i am wondering how the maker had so well jointed the the two types of wood like that? has he done this by hand?? how are they so seemlessly put together like that? the only way ive thought he could have done it is using sort kind of computer controlled cutter? |
