Saw question.
I know it doesn't make much sence to ask this question on the turning
group, but it does sorta when you think about it. I know from what little "Practice" I have at turning over the past year, some woods turn better at different speeds. So a variable speed lathe is essential. What I would like to know, read "before I go out and buy." Would there be an advantage to having a 4 speed bandsaw over a single speed bandsaw? Other than the difference in having to change the blade on the single speed when I decide to make bowl blanks out of a softer or harder wood? Mike, |
