Default Water got under laminate flooring

Our builders have cocked up on a flat roof and the resulting leak has
ended up with a fair amount of water getting under our freshly laid
laminate floor.

The underlay is pretty much sodden, but the flooring that was sold to
us is the Quick Step uniclic product and was sold as 'waterproof all
round the board' so what's your views on whether the boards shoudl be
replaced or not?

Some plasterboard already put on the walls has also become damp - the
plasterer reckons it will dry out and be fine - any views?

Cheers

Rob

I had some B&Q laminate that claimed waterproofness. It clearly wasn't
unless you glued it as well as clicked it. We moved house before it became
an issue, although it was definitely starting to lift.

I was going to put down laminate in our new bathroom but all the ones I
found required glueing and sealing all the joints (according to the
manufs. websites). I ended up (well its not actually laid yet!) putting
vinyl down because at least I can lift it without having to replace the
whole floor when I have to access the plumbing again.
