Our builders have cocked up on a flat roof and the resulting leak has
ended up with a fair amount of water getting under our freshly laid
laminate floor.
The underlay is pretty much sodden, but the flooring that was sold to
us is the Quick Step uniclic product and was sold as 'waterproof all
round the board' so what's your views on whether the boards shoudl be
replaced or not?
Some plasterboard already put on the walls has also become damp - the
plasterer reckons it will dry out and be fine - any views?
Cheers

photograph everything that's wet, damp or in any way concerned with the leak.
if the builders won't make good the damage they've caused simply use the
legal services aspect of your home insurance to claim full the replacement
value off the builders or their insurance company.
