Socket hieght, 450mm new build only?
Dos the 450mm minimum socket height from floor level apply only to new
builds? I would like to add new sockets in my house at the same level as existing ones, approx 300mm. Is this allowed? Thanks, Graham |

I was told 'yes' when I asked this here a few months back, and proceeded accordingly; certainly the BCO had no comment to make when he visited. David |

This comes from Part M of the building regs, and only applies to new buildings, and not even to extensions to existing buildings (unless the existing building is already Part M compliant). -- Andrew Gabriel |
