Quarries for Walling Stone / Near Macclesfield
Does anyone know of any good quarries for dressed or semi-dressed
walling stone in the Macclesfield/Cheshire/Western Peak areas? I am looking for sandstone in light pink through to buff colours. I have tried a couple in Kerridge (Earl & Bridge) but the lead time for the stone is excessive for my small requirement. TIA, Alex |
