Default Geberit 360 Toilet Cistern Fill Valve

I have replaced the diaphragm to try to cure a persistent overflow (and
hiss). It is still the same.

Could it be something sticking a bit as if I ripple the water it stops.

I don't want to have to remove the close fitted cistern to replace the
valve as it isn't at my house.

Any suggestions?

Dreadfully over compicated objetcts, the spawn of satan.

Slightest bit of grit or limescale can cause thet.

I agree - over complex. However, I don't want to remove the cistern to
replace the valve. I may try lowering the level and cleaning the various
pivot points. Any other ideas?

I have fitted a new valve unitit with the diaphragm. It is still passing
some water. I don't know if the problem is the main seating - or the small
pilot valve and seating. I don't really understand it.
