I have replaced the diaphragm to try to cure a persistent overflow (and
hiss). It is still the same. Could it be something sticking a bit as if I ripple the water it stops. I don't want to have to remove the close fitted cistern to replace the valve as it isn't at my house. Any suggestions? |

I may try lowering the level and cleaning the various pivot points. Any other ideas? |

I have fitted a new valve unitit with the diaphragm. It is still passing
some water. I don't know if the problem is the main seating - or the small pilot valve and seating. I don't really understand it. |
