WiFi Room Thermostat
I wish to replace my hard-wired Siemens room thermostat with a WiFi
unit. I can then locate it wherever it gives the best control, the present location is terrible, right near a cold door. Can anyone recommend a suitable unit? I see several out there, including some brands that I have never heard of. Assuming a fixed part is required for the interface to the wiring, there is room right next to the Honeywell junction box. It will be wired in instead of the Siemens, no socket control wanted. I do not need anything fancy, no 'Smart' connection, not even internet connected, just a Wireless version of the Siemens. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Celect-DRF2...tral+heatin g Or: https://tinyurl.com/yd5szgbx covers the basic idea, but the reviews are not encouraging. Helpful suggestions welcome. Davey. |
