Yes indeed, and some fine photos.

Minor niggle on the journalism, Bulgarian grenades must have been pretty
feeble if you can receive "the full blast" and still talk.

Images of Bulgarian grenades of WW1 show stick grenades, on the German
model. They were blast grenades, a modern version of which is the stun
grenade. As they have a smaller danger radius, they were safer for
assault troops to use than a fragmentation grenade, like the Mills Bomb.
