Default Using a uk roofer in France

This is a copy of a post i put on a fb page. One of the responsees i got suggested i ask thus group if this would be a problem. Bit of a long shot, due to the lead time of getting a French roofer, I am exploring the possibility of trying to get an English roofer to come over to France ro do the work. Accommodation and full board would be provided. The property is in northern France, approximately 80 miles from Calais. The current roof is corrugated sheets which probably contain asbestos. We do have a legitimate method of disposal for this. We want a credible company who can provide references. The roof is a on a slight slope adjoining a tiled pitched roof. Please pm me and I can send some photos.

Ask the man with the big moostachio, married to a fat bird with odd
tastes in decor, previously seen on C4.

I think you must be referring to Dick Strawbridge of "It's not easy
being Green" fame and who does guest appearances on the odd episode of
"Coast" from time to time. :-)

Reference to Dick Strawbridge restoring a Loire Chateau series.

I got the reference. The missus watches that series for its "Lifestyle"
aspect rather than for the minimal DIY engineering aspect. I've
occasionally sat still through the tedium of the former to catch glimpses
of the latter for maybe one or two thirds of the odd episodes I've found
myself watching with SWMBI (our TV viewing tastes are almost entirely
opposed so we rarely watch any TV programmes together).
