Almost... The onboard DSP is constantly listening to the microphone
array, and picking out the best direction to listen to. It then sends
that stream to the main CPU, which buffers it and performs wakeword
analysis. If it thinks it heard "Alexa" it sends the data, including
the wakeword, to the cloud computers. They tell it when to stop. The
initial data will be from the internal buffer, rather than live; the
internal buffer will empty and then it's sent pretty much live.
