Tap light flashing and regular sucking sound from drain sump.

Pulled unit out, tipped to 45 degrees and about 1/4 pint of water came out from base.

Plugged in and all OK.

panel. According to the operating instructions, this indicates

Has anyone had experience of this failure to know what it actually

The dishwasher is Bosch model SMV50C00GB.

Until the flood switch triggers again. The reason it stopped working is
because you have a slow leak, probably from the pump or its unions.

And it only took just over a year and a half too, good service.

A friend of mine calls them bish bash bosch.

I was going to suggest he had an octupus in the machine from the description
of the sound.
