around with a Portable Appliance tester and used it to perform tests on
the appliances.

tested becuse the person taking the dumnp had pat written on theirt

I've never had the name pat have you. But I do organise the stuff that needs testing once a year for when our PAT testers come.
No idea of their name, not my concern, the department has had enough of me complianing about the electrical testing.

No risk assemssment is carried out, managment don't understaand such things all they know is that if there's a sticker on the items they are safe and the college can't be blamed if something goes worng, well they assume that.

Yes I know, but I'm not managment I have my lab manager, then there's the H&S& wellbeing person, then there's the health and safety group or the Facilities Manager, then the school manager then the Head of depaartment, then the head of school then the principle then I assume the queen.

I've emailed my concerns and teh distrust I have in this so called system to my manager , the Facilities Manager, the school manager and the Head of department.
I did not email the principle or the Queen.
