"Selection process"? That involves the Job Centre telling young
person that they have to take the apprenticeship if they wish to
continue getting their benefits. The system does not allow the young to
be a NERT (Not in Employment, Education or Training).

Sure, but that's the whole point of an apprenticeship, to give them
that in a way that is more likely to be successful at doing that.

They do that quite adequately amongst themselves.

Zero social skills too.

No one has zero social skills. They have obviously
managed to get thru school and only a few have
nothing to do with anyone in school.

Especially with older people.

That's overstated too. I don’t have any problem with them.

Especially if they have no father in their lives.

And that is too. And plenty who in theory did
in the past didn’t in more than theory anyway.

Some are total social morons.

Sure, but not all that many of them and that’s always been true.

You can blame a lot of it on schools and their PC, entitlement culture.

Corse we never saw any of that in the past eh ?

They are almost never prepared for the real world.

That's what the apprenticeship is supposed to be doing.

Never even had a job delivering papers.

Because hardly anyone has their paper delivered anymore.

You can blame socialism for all this.

Even sillier than you usually manage.

All of that happened before socialism was even invented
and is the reason the apprenticeship system was invented.
