Very useful for quick easing of things where you're not too worried about accuracy. Like say fitting a socket box into wood. Not a must have tool, but can be handy. -- *When blondes have more fun, do they know it? Dave Plowman London SW To e-mail, change noise into sound. |

Last time I had to do that I ended up using the sander drum on the Dremel. -- My posts are my copyright and if @diy_forums or Home Owners' Hub wish to copy them they can pay me £30a message. Basically, I find it handy for anything wood related across the grain where you can't get a decent stroke with a rasp. Or are too lazy. And don't want to risk a decent chisel. It's the B&D one I have too. -- *I don't feel old. I don't feel anything until noon. Then it's time for my nap. Dave Plowman London SW To e-mail, change noise into sound. |

Not every day, it's one of those tools, like the multi master & clones, that is a real life saver when you do need it. Basically, I find it handy for anything wood related across the grain where you can't get a decent stroke with a rasp. Or are too lazy. And don't want to risk a decent chisel. I use it a lot on newel posts when decking. Kerf out the half lap with circular saw, clean up & adjust with B&D Powerfile. It's the B&D one I have too. -- Dave - The Medway Handyman www.medwayhandyman.co.uk |
