Default combie boiler,hot water sometimes

Hi,
as above.Got a new pressure valve fitted months ago,hot water tap runs at a
very slow pace and now and again runs cold in the kitchen sink sometimes
also in the shower,not nice ,any suggestions how to get decent flow and hot
water all the time.

Yeah. Chuck it out and go find a well cared for 30 year old plain and
simple boiler that isn't packed out with unreliable tech ****e like all
the modern ones are plagued with.

Agreed. But don't forget you will have to add a DHW storage tank.

Quite possibly the domestic hot water heat exchanger is fouled up with
limescale, or, the worst case, the main heat exchanger is fouled up
with iron oxide.
The best case scenario is a temperature sensor not working correctly,

But my money would be on one of the heat exchangers needing
cleaning/replacing.

The flow sensing mechanism may also have a problem if the boiler is not
sensing and lighting when required.
