Default Monarch Water Softeners

Anyone used them?

Incoming plumber seems to rate them but they cost more than the entry level
ones at East Midlands Water Company.

Prices for the Monarch Midi seem to be around the £470-£480 mark which puts
them half way between the entry level EMWC meter controlled ones and the
£695 for the twin tank EMWC one.

Not sure what I get for the extra £100.

Cheers

Google Shopping shows it as low as £411
https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=Mo...w=1366&bih=622

I've just ordered a Laser water softener.
It's made by: www.kenne****er.co.uk
and can be got for £550 from http://www.spectrum-softeners.co.uk/...lta_Range.html

The Monarch Midi would be too large for me. The Laser fits in the space (just). It also has an updated Autotrol valve that's very compact and is starting to appear on softeners.
