Default Vacuum cleaner - with shoulder strap?

Mainly wooden floors, so methinks a cylinder vac carried on a shoulder
strap wood be the quickest for getting the dust up.

Any recommendations? Tried google but its proving a tedious task.
Seems to be increasingly poor for searching.

I have a Miele cylinder cleaner for my wooden floors - it follows me around
easily on its wheels as far as the lead allows. I can't praise it highly
enough - it's superb. Why do you need to carry it on your shoulder?

Thought it would be easier round furniture, and up and down the
several levels on the ground floor, and for stairs.
Hsve seen 'backpack' ones, but they look a bit overkill.

And all you'd end up doing is Ghostbuster impersonations.

A Vorwerk might do the trick. We've used them for about twenty years. Not
the cheapest but very good. They have a shoulder strap that stows within the
body of the machine.

I have no connection with the outfit.

You are using the wrong search term. Try "shoulder strap vacuum
cleaner" for what the OP asked for.

I find my old upright Panasonic works just fine - it adjusts the head to
the floor. And the brush action removes at least some stuff pure suction
doesn't.

Any recommendations? Tried google but its proving a tedious task.
