adhesive for 600x400 calibrated slate tiles
Right, got on order some 600x400mm ** 10mm calibrated ** black brazilian slate tiles for the kitchen. Apparently these are very regular in size.
I know little about current tile adhesives. 1. What would be good for laying these ? - Obviously cement-based curing rather than "drying". - some areas will need to be built up by up to 5mm (due to the floor dipping slightly in one corner) - not too expensive ! 2. Should the sand/cement screed be sealed / primed first ? Cheers, Simon. |
