Default Paper shredders and sheer stupidity.

I think I must have been having an off day today. My wife's paper
shredder had jammed up, so gave it a good clean. Then sprayed the
cutters with lubricant, turned it on and the top half jumped a couple of
inches in the air. Apparently the bang was quite loud. I really must
remember that the propellant is inflammable and that the on/off switch
sparks...........

Any one know how long it takes for the hairs on arms to grow back?
