Stop Cock key supplied or not by water board?
Recently had some blokes to come in and *work* on the central heating. They
needed to turn the water off and went outside to the 'stop-cock' in the driveway. They told me that when thames water put in the new stop cock a few years ago, they should have supplied to me the key to turn the valve on and off. I rang thames water and they said i should have been given a stop cock key. When i then applied for one, i was told that thames water do not, and have not supplied stop cock keys. So thames water are saying two different things. Does anyone know if they have ever supplied a key when fitting a new stop cock out side? Thanks for any advice. |
