Default Sanding sheets

Hi there. I've got a 1/2 sander, which has a sanding
surface of approx 230 x 115mm. The cheapest sheets I've
seen online are about £3.60p for 10 sheets. This seems
a bit steep. I could cut large sheets into suitable
sizes, but anyone know of a cheap supplier?TIA.

just be aware that paper designed for hand sanding has higher abrasive
density and tends to clog when used on machines. It still works, just
doesnt stay as clear as lower density paper for machines

IIRC poundland had 10 sheets of wet n dry for £1 recently

Wickes used to have large rolls of decent paper. Easy to cut with an
old scissors.

Thanks all, I didn't realise sanding rolls existed. 5m
each of say medium and fine, should last me a couple of
years or more.

Provided you do not tell "friends" and "neighbours" that you have such
items! (

I've been doing more borrowing than lending. I've been
making fence panels, to extend the existing concrete
block party wall from 3' to 6' high, using 9mm T&G. A
neighbour, a retired carpenter has been lending me his
electric plane and biscuit machine. These are
incredible bits of kit, but my usage doesn't justify me
investing in purchase - well that's my excuse.
