Newel post fixing
Hi,
I have a newel post which I need to fix against the bottom of a brick wall - I can't mount a fixing vertically through the base of the post, so whatever I use will need to be driven in horizontally through the side of the post into the brick. Can anyone suggest what type of fixing I should use? Thanks Steve |

Assuming its a 100mm post use these http://www.wickes.co.uk/Fixings-Spec...et/invt/510009 but counterbore a 35mm deep hole in the post, of sufficient diameter to get a socket on the head. -- Dave - The Medway Handyman www.medwayhandyman.co.uk |
