Hotpoint DY46X Oven: Now the fan is on the fritz
A year ago I asked about replacing the main oven element and got some
useful answers from Mike Dodd, Peter Watson and others. I bought a new element locally and fitted it in a matter of minutes. Absolute doddle. However, now the fan is playing up! It has been slow starting up for some weeks now, and I have been "helping" it start to rotate with a suitable object through the slits at the back . But now it's barely creeping around, so a new fan motor is called for. Is this just as easy to replace as the element was? Thanks again! MM |
