We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
drugs began to take hold. I remember John Rumm
saying something like:

Perhaps she couldn't find a tree.

Raises a couple of questions. The report I read in The Sun said they went
to her place & had sex.

How ****ed must he have been not to feel her doing the cutting? If he was
that ****ed how did he manage to do the business? Brewers Droop etc?

Maybe there's no such thing as Valium Droop?

Dunno, people talk about Brewer's Droop but as SWMBO will attest, booze
has always had exactly the opposite effect on me.

Even in my student days I can't ever recall getting so ****ed up that I
wouldn't have noticed a bunny boiler autographing my arm with a Stanley
knife. But then again, I was never into drugs which I presume was the
main reason here.

Well, if the Daily Wail's (never-let-the-truth-get-in-the-way-of-a-
good-storey) account is accurate, I really hope she gets exactly
what he would surely have got had the tables been turned the other
way around and he had cut her up.

It depends on the tipple taken:
Lager makes you larger
Port makes you shorter
Whisky makes you frisky
Brandy makes you randy
Just don't drink Beer...

Ah but... it is always a woman's looks that are considered. 'She might
have had a career as a model.' 'Since the insert event, she can't wear
favourite make-up.'

(There might be *some* justification, in some cases. I know the things I
dislike about myself, and they are just different to the things women
seem to dislike about themselves. And no, not that, I got an ad in my
inbox... :-) !)

A cut from a really sharp blade doesn't hurt that much *at the time*, even

It's probably GBH in fact. Or ABH. Might even be 'assault with a deadly
weapon'

Legally, all carry pretty heavy penalties.

Of course think of the outcry if she had been smoking CANNABIS.

Rather than a "slut up" of lager or alcopops..

Even if your career isn't a life of modeling in front of cameras,
to be faced with such a stark reminder of the damage someone did
to you in a senseless moment, for the rest of your life, is one hell
of a price to pay.

I'd be intreagued to hear her side of the incident.

Hands seem to heal without showing. I have a couple of small cuts on
plain skin like his, and those don't ever completely vanish. One where
I stood up under the corner of an old stainless steel sink, which turned
out to be razor sharp and cut me on the back similarly to those stanley
knife cuts, and another where a rake handle snapped and the sharp end
stabbed me in the arm. A couple of marks like that are not significant,
but if all those cuts leave similar marks, that's going to be quite a
sight.

I'd be intreagued to hear her side of the incident.

I could have been a model. If I was less wide, and had been born into Brad
Pitt's body instead of mine. And I could be a Goth, so I'd be really upset
if I couldn't put on my favourite death-black eyeliner.

Yep - lock the mad bitch up - she's clearly a nutter, drugs or no drugs.

She claimed he asked her to do it... yeah, right.

But TBH - by both their admissions IIRC they were both totally off their
heads on drink and drugs and he can't remember anything about it.
Having thought about it, I don't think it's that far beyond the realms
of possibility that there might be something to her side of the story.

Totally. I'd go for a 'not proven' on this one.

By both's admissions they were well ****ed up, and complete assholes anyway.

Isn't that only available in Scottish law? (Within the UK, that is.)

Cocaine was mentioned, and I think you'll find use of prescription drugs
(valium) for recreation is also a bit dodgy.

Not sure about hands healing without showing. I posted about when I cut
my hand with a saw back in September last year. As shown in the picture,
it is still red (often much worse than in the photo), hurts, and there
is a significant area with virtually no sensation between the cut and
4/5 cm down my finger. (Save the sympathy :-) - someone only a few cm
away from me is very much worse off. :-( ) This is going to be a
permanent scar!

http://flickr.com/photos/polyurethane/3258401325/

(And I still have visible scars all over both hands from doing silly
things over many years. Every one I can remember doing is still plainly
visible.)

Story said 30 tablets of valium. Funny how they never say whether they
are 2, 5 or 10mg. Nor whether they are oral tablets or suppositories.
Not if they put them in the right place...

I took chlorpromazine once, in LA after a three day busride from NY with
very little sleep.

You could have cut my ears off and I wouldn't have noticed. I slept for
about 35 hours, and was rubbery in the legs for two days. Never again.
