Christams day morning

House full of guests

Have a guess

Mince pies left out for the Big Man which nobody fancied at midnight,
and needed to be despatched urgently before the kids found them?

More reindeer poo?

Empty and now unused Xmas stocking?

No, just fat (even though we are careful not to put fat down the sink) that
had accumilated over the years (drains last cleared in the 70's when my
parents bought the house)

Just bloody typical it had to happen on Christmas day isn't it!

It was the last inspection pit at the end of the garden that was the
culpret, 4' of richards and "water" - lovely.

A quick prod with the (sort of) corkshrew attachement, and a sudden gush of
water a gurgle, and all was well.

Had to hose the pavement and road down, as there had been some leakage, that
didn't smell too sweet!
