Default Slightly OT :Slandering a company

this just goes to prove that if a client/s slanders a company its usually
down to individual workmen working for that company that give it a bad name.

Double Glazing is being fitted buy a local established company and my
neighbour has had hers done and its a very poor job in particular the
finishing around the door ie patched with 3 strips UVPC and and the acrylic
sealent looks patheticly uneven and dirty.

Across the road was done by the same firm but different bloke and its
absolutly perfect ie same again the UVPC strip is one piece this time and
the sealent is pure white and clean as a whistle.

Who's to know how many of the company's fitters are bodgers like #1,
and how many are jolly good chaps like #2 ?

All down to the luck of the draw as to which fitter works on _your_
property. Over time, you'd hope that the management of said company
would take steps, based on customer feedback, to get rid of the bad
'uns..... but you just don't know...

True but if people don't complain then they will continue bodge and get the
company a bad reputation. #1 neighbour hasn't complained. :-(

Anyway mine is being done next week and I've asked for the person by name
who done #2 to be allocated to do mine they asked why and I said that a rep
needs visit such'n'such address and they will find out why. :-)

Not always, you also need to look at sales people too.

Inside or out is it dirty? Has he/she ever cleaned it?
Have people made it worse poking at it or trying to damage it in order to
complain and try
and get money off?

Across the road was done by the same firm but different bloke and its
absolutly perfect ie same again the UVPC strip is one piece this time and

So why isn't your neighbour speaking to the company concerned. What motive
would he/she
have for instructing you to post this sort of rubbish in a newsgroup?
He/she or maybe you need
to get out more and not concern yourself with other peoples business.

Do you by any chance work for the company in question? What is your
interest in making these suggestions?
