Default Cupboard Hinges

Can the typical hinges used by kitchen cupboard and wardrobe manufacturers
be replaced with a hinge which will enable wider (160degree) opening without
changes to the counterbored holes?

Woodfit do them, but I don't know if the holes are identical, e.g.:

Search the site for other examples and you might be lucky.

There are plenty available, for sure - however the hole positions aren't
standard unfortuantely so your best bet is to try a version made by the
manufacturer of your existing hinges. Don't know if even that would be
foolproof though.

The name is often, but not always, embossed on the hinge somewhere;
failing that do you know where the original furniture was purchased?

Old MFI (c1990). Can't see a name. Will do a bit of measuring to make
comparisons with data sheets possible.
