Floor tiles and timber floors
Hi
Existing bathroom floor is 18mm chipboard and is in a poor condition - at least three access holes have been cut into it. Since the bathroom is to be gutted and sanitary ware moved it seams pointless not to replace the whole floor. SHMBO wants ceramic tiles. Would I be able to tile directly onto an 18mm plywood floor. If yes then help please on grade/type of plywood and securing to joists etc. Thanks PeterK |
