We are being philosophical about things. There are far worse things
happening in this world to worry about things which are replaceable at the
end of the day.

Well said. There's no point in worrying about things which have happened and
no point in worrying about things which MIGHT happen.

If you worry you die. If you don't worry you still die.

Old German Proverb - :

Wennst trinkst stirbst If you drink you die

Wennst trinkst nicht stirbst auch If you don't, you die anyway

Also trink. Therefore drink.

On a similar tack, is the looting we heard

Someone nicked couple of sandbags and the Barsley Chrinicle went into a
frenzy about looting. Only confirmed report is of an abandoned car having
it's stereo pinched.

And someone beating the council to the knackered furniture that had
been left out the front. Hardly looting, but to a Barnsley Chronicle
reader...

The Chronicle loves it. A 12 page special of the floods with peeople putting
on miserable faces as they pose for photos outside their houses. Mind you
some sub editor managed to slip in the headline "Newlyweds Wet Patch" with
no one noticing.

I don't live in the area (and don't get 'news'papers anyway) but I'd like to
think I'd have noticed it!
