Default Shower causes light to dim - expected?

Hi,
I've noticed that when I run the shower (gainsborough energy 2000), the
bathroom light dims slightly then brightens when its switched off. It has
always done this, but I just wondered if this is normal?
Cheers,
Bramblestick
