Default Stupid Micrometer

Several months ago I bought a micrometer form Lidl. It was a really
nice tool that I never had a use for until I finally figured out how to
get the blade out of my planer.

(Wind the bolts into the cartridge that holds the disposable blades and
the cartridge slides out. The blades can then be slid out the cartridge
with some careful pressure.)

So now I need to reset the allen screws that supply the adjustment to
the blade heights. (Having messed around with the SOBs trying to get
the blades out in a previous incarnation.)

Can I remember where I shelved that damn micrometer. Can I buggery!

I used a spanner (13mm) as a feeler gauge. It's not rocket science but
the sort of crap I used to keep an old Ariel Huntmaster running in ye
goode olde daies.

I wonder what the correct setting is supposed to be. I'd better take
the allen key into work with me tomorrow. I've a feeling it needs to be
15 maybe 16 mm.

Years ago my Dad had a wall clock that wound up
with a key. He knew he had put the key in a safe
place, so safe he couldn't find it.
After making a lot of enquiries he managed to find a
replacement. After winding the clock he put it in a
safe place...
....You guys are ahead of me aren't you?
