condensing boiler fan noise?
I have recently had a Ferroli condensing combi boiler fitted, and am
concerned that the fan seems to be on all or most of the time. It is intrusively noisy. Is this normal? |

There are two questions here... when the fan is "on most of the time" is the boiler lit? If yes, then this would suggest that the boiler has modulated down to a low burn rate to match the heat demand of the house, resulting in long low powered burn cycles. This is generally a good thing. As to how noisy it is - hard to say without knowing what you were expecting! -- Cheers, John. /================================================== ===============\ | Internode Ltd - http://www.internode.co.uk | |-----------------------------------------------------------------| | John Rumm - john(at)internode(dot)co(dot)uk | \================================================= ================/ |
