I don't believe that either.
sometimes you see on facebook, twitter, even here in ukdiy jpegs or gifs
with a picture of Diane Abbott or Churchill, or Jean-Claude Juncker
along with some text in quotes that they are purported to have said. the
images are known as memes, manufactured by someone to be shared and
copied round the internet.

Often if you check the right wing and brexiteer memes are fake. I don't
mean misleading statistics but simply lies, things that were never said,
like Churchill saying something about antifa or Diane abbott saying
there are too many white people in the uk. Lies.

I have never seen a blatant remainer lie of that sort. Loads of
nationalist brexiteer, anti immigrant lies.

ps I am not talking about exaggeration or wrong opinions or 'facts'
which are a little short of the whole picture. This is blatant untruths.

Isn't it weird how people see such utterly different things.

No. If you spend your life with your head in the sand drinking skinny
lattesÂ* and listening to te BBC. of course its gonna look different to
what it doesÂ* if you are out and about on council estates, and
industrials estates where the real world happens.

You aren't likely to know how much of my life is spent on council
estates or in railway arches but I think you would be suprised. probably
not as much as you spend in your underpants in front of your pc thinking
that you know better than others.

anyway. Fake memes. I haven't tried but I think I could find a half a
dozen clearly fake brexiter memes with 5 mins on google. Are you up for
the challenge?

Good point, though the real world happens in lots of places. But certainly not all.
