Default Danfoss TRV

Just fired up my Mothers CH. All OK except 1 rad on an spur off main
run which is as cold as charity. Bled rad and no air came out. Suspect
a faulty Danfoss TRV.

Any way of sorting it without removing/renewing it?

System is only some 6 years old.

With the TRV set to MAX, try giving it a sharp tap on the valve body to free
it.
Make sure you don't miss and hit something fragile!!!

Can't you take the TRV top off to reveal the plunger in the top of the
valve body. If you can you can push it in and out to test it's
operation.

Thanks Phil,

Just tried that and it worked. Saved a plumbers call-out charge and
possibly a new TRV +fitting (£75-£100)
