Default Another FCU question.

Hi,

I'm intending to power some under kitchen unit linklights from an FCU
(3amp or less) mounted on the kitchen ring main. My plan is to take a
1mm2 T&E from the FCU Lout to a wall mounted lightswitch to provide a
switched L (at the FCU), connecting the linklight to the swL and Nout
of the FCU. My question is does the FCU need to be switched (for
isolation)? Fixed lighting doesn't normally have DP isolation but an
appliance hard wired to an FCU I think would require DP switching.

Secondly can I assume there would be no problem taking an unfused
spur (to a second FCU) from an FCU on a ring main, providing that the
terminals will actually take 3x 2.5mm2 cables (I guess some/all?
will).

Thanks

Jim
