Default Prepare bathroom floor

I'm going through the first floor of my home, preparing the floors by
repairing floorboards and hardboarding them, prior to carpet-fitters. When I
get to the bathroom, should I simply substitute the hardboard for marine
ply?

Are there any other preparation dos/don'ts that I should consider? I want to
leave the surface ready for the tiler.

Thanks.

Well, in this situation I think it's always best to check with the
tradesperson what they prefer to see as well, but WBP ply is the normal
thing - say 12mm - you don't need expensive marine ply.

As Mr French says - WBP ply is the stuff (I always think of marine ply
myself in this context!)

Thanks both.

What is "WBP"?

Water and Boil Proof (but I expect if you asked for 'water and boil
proof ply' anywhere you'd get a few odd looks!)

It refers to the glue uses in its construction, not to the wood!
