Default FOR INFO - Hoover washer dryer fault fixed

Posting this for archiving as it may help someone in the future.

Hoover WDM130 washer dryer (but probably relevant to a wide range of
machines). Around five years old.

Symptoms: Machine will not spin. Cycle continues normally. Cleaning
pressure switch reservoir and replacing brushes did not fix the fault
(although both needed doing!).

Removed controller board for checking. Very easy to do with machine on
its right side. Undo one screw, cut the tie-wrap, and disconnect three
plugs.

Found a very obvious dry-joint on one of the relay connections. Remade
with a section of wire to bridge the burnt track. All now working OK.

Roger.
