Hiding shower curtains!
Does anybody know of a shower curtain or screen that will roll back
into a cartridge or similiar when not in use. We are building a brand new bathroom so doing structural work is not an issue, but I just wondered if there was some way of hiding it when not in use. Quiggles |

Quiggles You could probably use a conventional window blind mechanism mounted vertically. But I think mould could be a serious problem if it's rolled up while damp. -- LSR |

Or how about a circular curtain that pulls up to the ceiling when not in use? There just might be a way to make one of those work. If you can fix a low voltage heater in the central tube, hot enough that it boils it dry when rolled up, it could work and not go all mouldy. What sort of fabric would tolerate repeated soaking and boiling Ive no idea. Probably none. NT |

"Eew - why not a proper solid shower cubicle door? "
Because my wife is fussy and doesn't want a door or curtain to be seen when not in use..... and frankly they do tend to get in the way, and is just another thing for the kids to break! |

In theory a good idea but the shower will be in the wall at the end of
the bath - I don't like the idea of stepping out of the bath/shower onto a wet floor! |

Youve got to somehow dry that blind off, else it goes mouldy, grows nasty bacteria etc. NT |
