'j' section extrusion wanted
What I'm looking for is something that can be used as a miniature
gutter to direct water from the edge of an object towards somewhere more appropriate for it to end up. A simple round bottomed 'j' section that's about 25mm wide across the bottom and at least 30mm high would be perfect. The length needs to be about 3 metres. It needs to be weatherproof, so white plastic or extruded aluminium would seem like promising materials. I had hoped that the local DIY sheds might have had something, I also tried a specialist in PVC cladding materials. Does anybody have a suggestion where such a profile can be readily obtained ? |

Does that sound anything like what you want? Failing that, you might be able to cut a piece of oval electrical trunking to size - it looks a bit like a slightly flattened egg. Cic. |

Would a length of Square PVC Trunking do the job? Trunking comes in a lot of sizes and is easily cut to shape with a strong pair of scissors or a modelling knife. It's light weight, weather proof, water proof and strong. You can also get shaped corners and covers if needs be. Example: http://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Main_Ind..._Index/Maxi_2/ which can be cut easily to the 25 mm wall height you need on one side. |
