Default Hose sizes availability

Having asked about positioning a water butt, thanks for the replies,
where can I source hoses with sizes? I've tried Googling to no avail.
I can only find specialist hoses and the standard garden hose. My need
is for something a little larger, I would also like a hose to fit the
rain butt tap.
TIA

A little depends on the way you intend to use the hose but, if it is to
be fixed into position, find your nearest agricultural merchant (often
called farmers suppliers) and ask about alkathene. Alkathene is more
rigid than a normal garden hose but has got a little flexibility and is
available in different sizes.

You can get 3/4 inch hose.

Maybe try:

http://www.lbsgardendirect.co.uk

Or

http://www.twowests.co.uk/

But unless you need the flexibility, I'd look at using plastic pipe or
irrigation pipe.

I would also like a hose to fit the rain butt tap.

15mm hose and jubilee clip?

Reminds me, I must go and turn off the tap on our butt which feeds the
greenhouse perforated hose. We had about 18mm of rain in ten minutes this
afternoon :-)
