Default Window software

I am at a point where I need t osend out drwings to Double Glazing companies
to quote for windows from my house. Can anyone guide me as to where I can
obtain/dowload some free software to draw the windows.

I never use anything more fancy than Paint comes free with every copy of
Windows - draw a grey square and copy it into a grid.

Try a free demo CAD program download like TurboCAD. With a bit of luck you
should have time to learn to use it before the demo time limit comes up.

The demo may not allow saving files so you need to leave the PC on 24/7 till
you finish, then you can usually do a "print screen" to get the drawing
onto a printer using a different printing program.

It is difficult if you cant save. But I m going to give MS Powerpoint a
bash.

TIA all. Now to the measurements As for window sizes... do I measure the
acutal hole in the wall or the actual size of window required? Do not post
here but on my other post relating to this specifically, below.
