Need help with Pioneer Car CD player CDX M30
Hello,
I have found that my spindle motor has gone bad. However, I am unsure as to how to remove it. If anyone can give me step by step directions or has a service manual available. It would be greatly appreciated. thanks |

However, when the new motor is fitted, the positioning of the turntable, which has to be transferred, is critical. The error in height should not be more than +/- 0.2 mm. Pioneers often have a turntable height gauge moulded into the plastic of the deck. It looks like a horseshoe, and you remove it with a pair of small cutters. It then slips onto the top of the motor, and the turntable is pushed down until it *just* pinches the gauge, which is then slid back out. Failure to observe this results in a focus offset error, which may be too much for the focus servo to cope with, especially in a mobile application. Arfa |
